ABOUT Paneer stuffed Potato patties RECIPE

This dish was an impromptu experiment of mine, the kind you want to have with tea on a wet rainy day or in the chill of a cool evening. This is my very first documented recipe post here so please let me know if any clarifications are needed.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Potatoes 3 to 4 medium large, boiled, mashed with a pinch of salt
  2. Paneer 100 gms, coarsely crumbled
  3. Green chillies 1 or 2, finely minced
  4. Ginger/garlic 1 tsp finely minced
  5. Coriander finely chopped
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Cornflour for coating


  1. Keep the mashed potato aside and ready.
  2. Mix all the other ingredients except the cornflour.
  3. Take the potato mash and mould it into a deep cup. Fill the paneer into the potato and close it completely.
  4. Dip the patties in the cornflour and shallow fry.
  5. Goes perfectly with tangy tamarind chutney, tomato sauce or spicy green chutney.
