Coconut Delight

Ingredients to make Coconut Delight

  • Khoya 125 gms
  • dessicated coconut 100 gms
  • Powdered sugar 150 gms
  • Food colors - As per your choice (I took red, green and yellow)
  • For dressing:
  • dessicated coconut 50 gms

How to make Coconut Delight

  1. Heat a thick bottom pan. Add khoya to it and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame. By doing so we ensure that the rawness of khoya is gone.
  2. Once the khoya becomes light brown in color, turn off the burner.
  3. Add powdered sugar in the cooked khoya and mix it properly with your palms. Here you may adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
  4. Add dessicated coconut and again mix properly.
  5. Divide the above mixture in different portions depending upon how many colors you want to give,
  6. Add different color to each portion and mix properly
  7. Take small sized ball from each portion and give it desired shape.
  8. Take some dessicated coconut in a plate and roll each shape in the desiccated coconut.
  9. Keep it in an airtight container and refrigerate.
