Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup semolina/suji
  2. 1 chopped small onion
  3. 1tsp mustard seeds
  4. 2chopped green chillies
  5. 1 tblsp ghee
  6. 6-7 curry leaves
  7. 6-7 cashew nuts chopped
  8. 1tsp lime juice
  9. 2 1/2 cup water
  10. 1 tsp of urad dal and chana dal soaked for 15 minutes
  11. Fresh coriander leaves
  12. salt according to taste

Instructions

  1. Roast the semolina in 1tsp of ghee..
  2. In another pan heat ghee and splitter the mustard then add curry leaves,daal,cashew nuts.
  3. Add onion,green chillies and stir for a minute.
  4. Add water then add salt, lime juice.at this stage flame should be high.
  5. Add semolina and stirring it continuously till upma comes together.
  6. Sprinkle fresh coriander..
