Ingredients to make Imarti

  • 250 gm dhuli urad dal
  • 50 gm rice
  • 500gm sugar
  • Half tea spn elaichi pwd
  • Some kesar flake
  • Two tea spn rose water

How to make Imarti

  1. soak urad dal n rice for 2 to 3 hour
  2. Wash n strain water..then grind it in mixi..
  3. Make a fine paste keep a thick cosistency
  4. Add kesar water n rose water n two pinch of elaichi pwd
  5. Put a deep pan on flame put sugar n half of its water make chasni
  6. Take half tea spn lemon juice n put in chasni to make it clear
  7. Put a flattern pan on flame add sufficient quantity of ghee or oil
  8. Heat the ghee then make vry seam the flame
  9. Pour the mixture in pipping bag n make shape of Imarti in oil.
  10. Remember always make it in anti clock wise n not in vry hot oil
  11. Deep fry them on medium heat n put in chasni for two mints.
  12. Then serve this delicious Imarti..

My Tip:

The oil should not be overheated while making imarti shape
