ABOUT SEVIYAN KHEER RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Vermicelli 2 cup
  2. Whole Milk 2 liters
  3. Ghee or Unsalted butter 4 tablespoon
  4. sugar 1 cup or to taste
  5. Assorted nuts 1 tbsp
  6. Green cardamom powder 1 /2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add assorted nuts and saute till nuts are brown. Remove from heat, drain on absorbent paper and set aside.In the same pan, add vermicelli and saute till light golden.
  2. Remove from heat and set aside.Boil the milk in a deep non-stick pan. Add fried vermicelli, mix well and cook on medium heat for five to seven minutes.
  3. Add sugar then mix well and cook on low heat for five minutes.Remove from heat and add cardamom powder & assorted Nuts. Mix well and serve hot or chilled .
