Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 5-6 peeled potatoes
  2. 4 tbsp olive oil or any vegetable oil
  3. 2 sliced onions
  4. 1cup yellow moong dal powder
  5. Salt and black pepper powder as per taste
  6. Water as required
  7. 2 tsp grated cheese (optional)
  8. Chopped coriander leaves
  9. Chopped green chillies
  10. Tomato flower to garnish


  1. Heat oil in a frying pan. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes until softened.
  2. Pour over the potatoes and cook on a low heat for 5-6 minutes. Turn the side and cook till done.
  3. Pour oil in between.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over the top if using. Garnish with a tomato flower.
