Ingredients Serving: 25

  1. 1 cup coconut powder
  2. 2 cups makai flour.
  3. 1 cup ragi/nachni flour
  4. 50gms badam powdered.
  5. 1 cup sugar
  6. 1 tbsp khuskhus
  7. handful of dry eating gum
  8. 4 pinch of jaihal
  9. 2 clove lavang
  10. 1/4 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
  11. 2-3 straw from javitri flower
  12. 6-7 green elachi
  13. 50 gms kishmish
  14. 1 cup ghee +1/2cup oil


  1. Take mixi dry masala jar,add elachi,khuskhus,javitri,lavang jaiphal,badam,dry ginger grind to powder.keep aside
  2. take fried gum and sugar grind to powder.keep aside.
  3. Take broad heavy bottom pan.
  4. Add 2tsp ghee fry dry gum on slow flame.keep aside to cool.
  5. Same pan add more ghee and add ragi/nachni flour and makai flour.
  6. Roast on slow flame for10 mins.
  7. Add coconut powder roast with both the flour.
  8. add grounded dry masalas.
  9. Till u fill the smell of roasted flour.around 15-20 mins..
  10. Cool until, easy to handle churma in your hand.
  11. Now take the roasted flour mix,add kishmish,powder sugar and gum powder
  12. Mix both together now take modak shaper make modak.
