Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cabbage - 1 small
  2. Tomato - 1
  3. Onion - 1
  4. Curry leaves 1-2 sprigs
  5. Whole cumin - 1/2 tsp
  6. Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  7. Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  8. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Turmeric - a pinch
  10. Hing - a pinch
  11. Oil - 1 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Corriander leaves a handful

Instructions

  1. Cut cabbage, wash and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok, put in jeera and hing. Then add in the curry leaves.
  3. Put in the chopped onions, fry a bit.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and fry that as well.
  5. When slightly cooked, add in the cabbage and all the masala powders.
  6. Add salt, cover and cook.
  7. Check in between so it doesn't stick to the bottom. If it does, then splash a little water.
  8. Top with the coriander and serve as a side dish.
