Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mince (You can take any mince) 1/2 kg
  2. Oil for frying and 3 tablespoons for the gravy
  3. Ginger Garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  4. Coconut (Desiccated) 2 tablespoon
  5. Cashews 15
  6. Almonds 10
  7. Khus Khus 1 tablespoon
  8. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala 1 tablespoon
  10. Onion sliced 2
  11. Yogurt 1/2 cup
  12. Fresh cream 2 tablespoon
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Egg 1
  15. Cornflour 1 tablespoon (Optional)
  16. Saffron (kesar) 2 teaspoons
  17. Coriander leaves 1 tablespoon
  18. Butter 2 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Take cashews, almonds, khus khus, coconut and grind it with 1 tablespoon yogurt and a little water. Make a fine paste, keep it aside.
  2. Wash the mince and drain it well. Transfer this in a bowl and add half of the coconut paste, add onion, red chilli powder, yogurt, salt, fresh cream, saffron, egg and mix well. Make lemon size koftas from it.
  3. Deep fry these koftas in hot oil and transfer on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  4. Heat butter and oil in pan, fry the onion till golden then add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, remaining coconut paste and saute it well. Add koftas in this gravy and add fresh cream, cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Turn off the flame, add some coriander leaves for garnish and some saffron.
