Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups idli batter
  2. 1 or 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  3. 1 finely chopped capsicum
  4. A pinch of Hing
  5. 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper (optional)
  6. 2 tbsp chopped curry leaves
  7. 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  8. Salt if required

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in the idli batter.
  2. Heat the paniyaram chatti. Add a few drops of oil.
  3. Add sesame seed and mustard seeds and let it get popped.
  4. Pour spoonful of the batter in the paniyaram mould.
  5. Allow the batter to cook for 2-3 minutes on a low or medium flame.
  6. Turn each paniyaram with the help of a wooden spoon.
  7. Serve masala paniyaram with coconut chutney or sambar.
