ABOUT Gluten free Coco Chocolate Maple syrup brownies RECIPE

Can desserts be healthy? Of Course they can! Coconut is known for it's health benefits and what better than to have a glutenfree dessert which incorporates coconut in so many forms! So here's presenting my healthy take on regular brownies with the goodness of coconut ! Completely gluten free and with no added sugar this dessert surely is saviour for all the foodies who love to watch their diet and yet don't want to miss out on desserts. Cheers to healthy cooking!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup coconut flour
  2. 1/4 cup freshly desiccated coconut
  3. 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  4. 1/2 cup coconut oil
  5. 3 eggs
  6. ½ cup maple syrup (you can also use honey)
  7. 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  8. 1 tsp Cinnamon powder

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and whisk together all ingredients using a spoon. You could also use an electric hand mixer.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 15 mins.
  3. Grease a baking tin with little bit of coconut oil and pour in the brownie mixture into the tin
  4. Evenly lay out the mixture and smoothen out any bumps.
  5. Sprinkle some choco chips on top of this mixture
  6. Put the baking tin in the oven and bake it for 30 mins at 180 degrees till the brownie is properly done.
  7. Let them cool them for a while and then cut it into pieces and let the party begin!
