ABOUT Coconut balls covered with poppy seeds RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 250 gm boiled potatoes
  2. 2 tbsp gram flour
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  5. For filling:
  6. 1/2 cup grated coconut
  7. 1/2 cup green coriander leaves
  8. 1/2 cup groundnuts roasted
  9. 2 green chillies chopped
  10. Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  11. A pinch of hing/asafoetida

Instructions

  1. In bowl mix boil potato, gram flour, salt, black pepper and make a dough.
  2. Mix in all the ingredients mentioned under Filing.
  3. Take a little ball of dough on your palm.
  4. Add in the filling and make a ball again. Cover with poppy seeds.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil.
  6. Serve with green chutney.
