Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Flour 1 1/4 cup
  2. Salt 1/2 tsp
  3. Sugar 1/2 cup
  4. Butter 1/2 cup
  5. Curd 3/4 cup
  6. Red food color
  7. Vanilla essence 1 - 2 tsp
  8. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  9. Baking soda 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. First sieve flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
  2. Add butter, curd, salt and mix well.
  3. Add in the food color and mix well.
  4. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
  5. Preheat oven 180 degree centigrade.
  6. Take a baking tray, brush with oil and then dust with some flour.
  7. Pour in the batter and bake at 180 degree centigrade for 35 minutes.
  8. Check with the help of a toothpick and serve.
