ABOUT Black eyed beans (Lobia) masala RECIPE

This is my recipe and since I don't like lobia, I was wondering how can it be made tasty.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tomato - 1
  2. Coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon
  3. Tamarind - 1 pinch
  4. Coconut - 6 broken pieces
  5. Red chilli - 6
  6. Onion - 1/2
  7. Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Jeera - 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Curry leaves a few
  10. Garlic - 5 pieces

Instructions

  1. Grind tomato, red chilli, coriander seeds, tamarind and coconut. Keep aside.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let them crackle. Add in jeera, curry leave and saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add in the garlic, onion and saute until it is slightly brown.
  4. Add in the ground paste and add all the masalas. Add garam masala as per taste, turmeric powder and salt. Add in the black eyed beans. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with a garnish of fresh coriander.
