Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. kesar petha 2 piece
  2. paneer 250 grams
  3. Boiled potatoes 2 cup
  4. flour 2 tsp
  5. crushed black pepper 2 pinch
  6. haldi powder half tsp
  7. Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
  8. Kashmiri lal mirch 1 tsp
  9. garam masala half tsp
  10. tomato puree half cup
  11. kaju paste 2 tsp
  12. oil as required
  13. ginger-garlic paste
  14. Boiled onion
  15. salt to taste
  16. dry fruits


  1. Mash the boiled potatoes add in the paneer and add salt and black pepper. Divide in 6 portions.
  2. Chop the Kesar petha and add in the dry fruits.
  3. Now make small balls of the potato paneer mix with the filling of kesar petha and dry fruits. Deep fry and keep aside.
  4. Add oil in a pan, add in the onion paste and fry till golden brown. add in the ginger garlic paste, turmeric, coriander and red chilli powder. Add in water and cook till the mixture is cooked.
  5. Add in the tomato puree, garam masala and cashew paste. Cook for 5 minutes and then add in the koftas.
  6. Let them soak for a few minutes. Serve hot.
