ABOUT corn lazzania RECIPE

This is Indian version of lazzania.It is favourite food of children,contains lots of veggies,very aeromatic and very healthy.This is not spicy nor too sweet.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For corn sheet 2 cup whole corn
  2. 1 cup corn flour
  3. 1 pinch of salt
  4. both side open rectangular box for making sheet
  5. For stuffing 1 medium sized diced onion
  6. 1/2 cup green capsicum diced
  7. 1/2 cup red capsicum diced
  8. 1/2 whole corn
  9. 1/2 cup diced fried potato
  10. 1/2 cup cabbage
  11. 1/4 tsp black papper
  12. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  13. 1/4 pasta masala mix
  14. salt to taste
  15. olive oil
  16. For egg wash 1 egg beaten
  17. a pinch of dry garlic crushed
  18. a pinch of salt
  19. a pinch of red chilli powder
  20. 2 piece of cheese slice for garnish
  21. For tomato sauce
  22. 3 medium sized tamato
  23. 1 medium sized onion
  24. 2 medium sized green chilli
  25. 1/4 tsp carrom seeds
  26. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1-Take two cup whole corn and 1 cup corn flour in blender and make paste add a pinch of salt.
  2. 2-Heat non stick pan and place rectangular pan on it and polished with oil on tava and make corn lazzania sheet step by step.
  3. 3-Heat a pan and deep fry the diced potato cubes till light brown in colour in vegetable oil.
  4. 4-Heat a pan with 2 tsp of olive oil.Add cubed sized onion wait for 2 minutes not to till brown than add green capsicum,red capsicum,fried potato,whole corn and cabbage and mix it.
  5. 5-Now add red chilli powder,black pepper,pasta masala mix and add salt to taste.cook it for 3 to 4 minutes in high flame.
  6. 6-Now add all stuffing masala and our ready tomato sauce made by us.mix it well.
  7. 7-Take corn lazzania sheet one by one and assemble stuffing masala on step by step on sheets.pour the egg wash to in every sheet to set the mixture on sheet.
  8. 8-After 3 sheets on last upper sheet covered with cheese slices and bake it for 10 minutes.
  9. 9-Serve it with green chutney,tomato sauce and with caramelized banana.
