ABOUT Eggless Chocolate Pudding Cake RECIPE

This is a magic cake. You make the batter and add lots of water to it. Then you bake wondering if it will turn out well. When you take the cake out of the oven you will find magic. The cake has been baked and a sauce has been created. It is a cake and a pudding as well.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. For Cake batter
  2. 1 cup Flour
  3. ½ cup granulated sugar
  4. ¼ cup cocoa powder
  5. 2 tsp baking powder
  6. ¼ tsp salt
  7. ¼ cup almonds, toasted and chopped
  8. ½ cup milk
  9. 2 tsp canola oil
  10. 2 tsp vanilla essence
  11. ¼ tsp almond extract
  12. For topping
  13. 1 ¾ cup water
  14. ¾ cups packed brown sugar
  15. ¼ cup Cocoa Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit. For the topping mix all the ingredients and heat till just boiling.
  2. Mix together all the ingredients for the cake batter. Grease a Pyrex or Borosil bowl. Spread the batter in the tin.
  3. Pour the hot water over it gently. Don’t mix or shake the batter. Bake for 35-40 minutes. The water will become thick chocolate syrup.
  4. Upturn the cake onto a serving plate so that the chocolate syrup is now on the top. Cut and enjoy a slice of heaven.
