Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Spinach 2, bunches
  2. Paneer 1/2 kg, diced
  3. Onions 1 cup, finely chopped
  4. Tomatoes 1/2 cup, finely chopped
  5. Green chillies 3, chopped
  6. Ginger 1 tsp, chopped
  7. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  9. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  10. Oil 2-3 tbsp
  11. Sugar 1/3 tsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Cream 3-4 tbsp (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut spinach coarsely then pressure cook till 1 whistle, open immediately. Let it cool, then blend till smooth.
  2. Heat oil, add cumin seeds, ginger, onions, turmeric and saute till translucent.
  3. Add tomatoes, saute till the oil separates.
  4. Add palak,salt, garam masala and cook for about 2 to 5 minutes.
  5. Add in cream and sugar.
  6. Add paneer and mix in for just a minute, turn off the flame.
