Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for stuffing-
  2. 5 tbsp grated coconut (fresh coconut)
  3. 1 tbsp peanuts roasted and coarsely powdered
  4. 3 tsp chopped raisins (kishmish)
  5. 3 tsp chopped cashewnuts (kaju)
  6. 1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste
  7. 1 tbsp sugar
  8. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  9. Sendha salt to taste
  10. Ingredients for outer cover-
  11. 2 cups Boiled and Mashed Potatoes
  12. 3 tbsp arrowroot flour
  13. sendha salt to taste
  14. some more arrowroot flour for rolling
  15. Oil for deep fryING
  16. For serving green pudina coriander chutney

Instructions

  1. Take one bowl and mix all stuffing ingredients for stuffing.
  2. Take one another bowl and mix all ingredients for outer cover.
  3. Make 8 equal parts of stuffing and potato mixture.
  4. Now take one potato portion and flatten it on your hand keep the stuffing portion in between.
  5. Bring together the edges in the centre to seal the stuffing and shape it into a round.
  6. Roll in arrowroot flour
  7. Now make all the pattice like above.
  8. Deep fry pattice on medium flame till they turn brown in colour
  9. Serve hot with green chutney.
