Wash and soak rice for atleast one hour .
Then make a fine paste by grinding it along with elaichis.
Now heat milk in a heavy bottom pan , add rice paste , grounded almonds and saffron strands ... Keep stirring so that there are no lumps .
Cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes . When it's almost done add sugar, Give it a good Stirr ... And cook for another 2-3 mts . Put the gas off .
Now let it cool transfer it to serving bowls . Garnish with saffron strands and refrigerate . Serve chilled .
