Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Refined flour/maida- 1/2 cup
  2. Gram flour- 1/2 cup
  3. semolina - 1/2 cup
  4. Baking soda-1/4 tsp
  5. Ghee- 1 1/2 cup
  6. powdered sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  7. cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. almonds - half sliced for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Mix ghee and sugar powder with a food processor or a spoon. The mixture should become smooth, light and creamy.
  2. Add all the dry ingredients in the mixture and mix well.
  3. Mix everything and avoid kneading, make a smooth dough.
  4. Make medium sized flat balls from the dough.
  5. Press sliced almonds on the cookies top.
  6. U can make other designs, as per choice on the nankhatai
  7. Place the cookies on a baking tray and bake at 180 °C for 10-15 minutes.
