Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup grated bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki)
  2. 1 1/2 tsp ghee
  3. 1/2 cup Sugar
  4. 2 tbsp Milk
  5. 1/2 cup mava (khoya)
  6. 1/2 cup Desiccated coconut
  7. For The Garnish almond pista & desiccated coconut

Instructions

  1. Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick kadhai, add the bottle gourd and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar and milk and cover and cook on a slow flame for approx. 4 to 5 minutes,till the bottle gourd is soft.
  3. Add the khoya, coconut mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Remove from the flame, and allow to cool completely.
  5. Now grease your hand with ghee and make balls.
  6. Now garnish with almond pista & coconut .
  7. Refrigerate for at least some time.
  8. Serve chilled .
