ABOUT Green Veggie Biryani (Kid friendly) RECIPE

Green Veggie Biryani. My little niece and nephew select their food defining by colors and today's demand was Green Rice, so I decided to fulfill their wishes and added magic to their food.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Cooked Rice :- 2 cups
  2. Broccoli:- Few florets, cleaned properly and leave it in salt water
  3. Drum Stick:- 1 big(Slit from center and scrape the pulp)
  4. Spinach:- 1 Cup chopped (Blanch spinach and grind it to paste)
  5. Ginger:- 1 small grated
  6. Green peas:- a handful
  7. Zeera Powder:- 1/2 tsp
  8. Garam Masala:-1/2 tsp
  9. Ghee:- 2 tbsp
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in Non-Stick Pan, add grated ginger and fry for 1 min, now add Broccoli florets and fry for 5 mins and then add scraped drumstick mix well, cover with lid and cook on low heat.
  2. Remove lid and add little zeera powder and garam masala fry until fragrant.
  3. Add cooked rice and give a nice mix and now add spinach paste to it, give a nice mix until it looks fully green.
  4. Serve warm with Raita or Papad
