Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 7-8 boiled potatoes
  2. 1 tbsp sabut dhaniya
  3. 3-4 sabut red chilli
  4. 1 bay leaf
  5. 4-5 black pepper
  6. 1 tbsp saunf / funnel seeds
  7. 1/2 tsp jeera
  8. 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  9. 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  10. 1 tsp kasoori methi
  11. 1/4 cup mustard oil
  12. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  13. salt

Instructions

  1. Dry roast all the Masale leaving haldi and red chilli powder, take a kadai and heat oil in it, when it is smokey hot add coarsely mashed potatoes, add salt and haldi powder and fry till they change the color, grind the dry roast masala coarsely and add in the potatoes.
  2. Fry them till the masala is properly coated on the potatoes, now add lemon juice and red chilli and kasoori methi and cook for few more seconds and then off the gas, your masale vala aloo is ready to serve.Enjoy it with garam garam puri.
