ABOUT Choco Poha Kheer RECIPE

Healthy and tasty twist to Poha flavoured with chocolate.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 litre full cream milk
  2. 1 cup sugar or as per taste
  3. Blanched and chopped almonds and pistachios
  4. 200 grams Choco Flavoured Poha
  5. As the flavoured poha is available in Navratri season its simple for us at Mumbai, so if its not available at your end please use 75 grams of Drinking Chocolate

Instructions

  1. Boil milk on low flame.
  2. Add sugar and stir mix well.
  3. Add the poha and let this simmer on slow flame for ten minutes, keep stirring.
  4. Add almonds to cook in kheer to soften.
  5. Once thick, remove from flame into serving bowl.
  6. Cool and refrigerate.
  7. Garnish with blanched chopped pistachios.
  8. Choco poha kheer is ready to enjoy.
  9. If you do not get hold of flavoured Poha use the Drinking chocolate. Stir while adding sugar to milk, add Poha then keep stirring on slow ten minutes.
  10. Choco Poha is ready to enjoy.
