ABOUT Spicy Chocolate Chicken RECIPE

A new form of dish with Chicken which is Spicy, and also Chocolaty and has a new type of taste.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Dark Unsweetened Chocolate block - 25 grams
  2. 250 grams boneless Chicken Breast, cut into small cubes
  3. 1 small sized Yellow Bell Pepper, cut into small dice like shape
  4. 1 small sized Red Bell Pepper, cut into small dice like shape
  5. 1 medium sized Onion, cut into small dice like shape
  6. 3 - 4 Garlic Cloves, cut into small pieces
  7. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  8. 2 tablespoon butter
  9. 1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon powder
  10. 1 teaspoon of Black Pepper Powder
  11. 1 teaspoon of Red Chilly Powder
  12. 1 tablespoon of Tomato Puree
  13. 1 tablespoon of all purpose Flour
  14. 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  15. 3 - 4 Green Chilies, slit vertically
  16. 1 small sized Carrot, make Julienne cut
  17. Sugar as required
  18. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken with all purpose flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt, a pinch pf black pepper powder, and set it aside.
  2. Heat a pan in medium flame and add olive oil in it. When it is heated properly, add the marinated chicken and fry till the sides are golden in color. Keep the fried chicken pieces aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic pieces, onion pieces and add some salt. Stir for 2 minutes, in medium flame and then add Cinnamon powder in it. Stir fry for another 1 minute.
  4. When the smell of cinnamon started to come out, add Red Bell Pepper and Yellow Bell Pepper pieces, Carrot in it and fry all the ingredients for another 5 minutes in medium flame. Stir continuously so that no vegetables get burned.
  5. Next add tomato puree in it and mix well.
  6. Add green chilies, red chilly powder, black pepper powder and cook for another 4 - 5 minutes on low flame.
  7. When the gravy thickens, add chicken pieces in it and cook for another 5 minutes. Now switch off the flame.
  8. Now, we will prepare the chocolate sauce for the final dish. To do it, heat a non stick pan, and add 1 tablespoon of butter in it. When the butter started to melt, add the chocolate block in it, add some sugar and add 2 tablespoon of water.
  9. Stir the mixture continuously, else the chocolate may burn. After 2-3 minutes, the dark colored chocolate sauce will be ready.
  10. Again take the pan with chicken and vegetables, and add the chocolate sauce in it and mix very well. Cook the mixture for another 3-4 minutes in low flame.
  11. Add another tablespoon of butter in it and the Spicy Chocolate Chicken is ready.
  12. Serve it with a mocktail or a cocktail or with noodles or with pasta etc.
