Orange Caramelised Choconuts

Ingredients to make Orange Caramelised Choconuts

  • sugar 1/3 cup
  • Fresh Orange Juice 1/4 cup
  • almonds 2 cups
  • Melted Dark Chocolate 200 grams

How to make Orange Caramelised Choconuts

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together orange juice and sugar well in a heavy bottomed pan and heat it for just 4-5 minutes or until the sugar and orange juice turn into beautiful caramel.
  3. Make sure not to burn the mixture. Add in orange extract.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in clean almonds covering with this sweet and tangy mixture.
  5. Now place these nuts on the lined tray and let it cool.
  6. Line another tray with parchment paper.
  7. Once the almonds are cooled completely, microwave the chopped chocolate.
  8. Stir it after 30 seconds to melt the chocolate evenly.
  9. Coat the almonds thoroughly in melted chocolate.
  10. With the help of a fork drip the excess chocolate and place the nuts leaving some space.
  11. Allow them to cool and orange caramelised Choconuts are ready to serve.

My Tip:

Use white, milk or dark chocolate as per your preference. Use any nuts of your choice.
