Oreo Cake

Ingredients to make Oreo Cake

  • maida 1 1/2 cup
  • sugar half cup
  • butter half cup melted
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • salt a pinch
  • Cocoa powder 3 tsp
  • Oreo biscuits 20 no
  • Vanila assence 1/2 tsp
  • Oreo biscuits as per desire
  • Gems 3-4 packets for decoration
  • Milk one cup
  • Dry fruits optional (I added some almonds on the top before baking)

How to make Oreo Cake

  1. In a bowl, first take all dry ingredients like maida, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sieve it well for 2-3 times and set aside.
  2. Grease the baking pan.
  3. In another bowl take crushed oreo biscuits, sugar, butter and mix it well adding milk in it till the sugar disolves.
  4. Now add few drops of vanilla essence in it and mix.
  5. Add dry ingredients in it and mix well. The batter should be in pouring consistency put the batter in greased baking pan.
  6. Set time for 7 min at convection mode in microwave and bake. After 7 min check if it is properly baked otherwise set time for one to two min.
  7. After baking wait for one hour to cool the cake down.
  8. Now decorate with some oreo biscuits and gems.

My Tip:

You can use melted chocolate instead of oreo cookies but you have to melt the chocolate by double boiler method.
