Grilled Sweet Potato

Ingredients to make Grilled Sweet Potato

  • Sweet potato - 500 gms
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • garlic & herbs - 2 tbsp
  • olive oil - as required

How to make Grilled Sweet Potato

  1. Boil Sweet Potato with little salt until it turns soft.
  2. Once boiled, place it in cold water and allow it to cool. Peel the skin and cut it thick in round shape.
  3. Take one flat plate, add olive oil, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic & mix herbs and mix well.
  4. Coat each sweet potato piece one by one nicely in the marinade and place it in sandwich maker and grill until it turns brown in color.
  5. Flip other side and cook for some more time.
  6. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.

My Tip:

If you don't have sandwich maker you can bake this marinated sweet potato in microwave or shallow fry in nonstick pan.
