Ingredients to make Jalebi

  • maida 1 cup
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup water

How to make Jalebi

  1. Mix maida and curd together, add a little water to make a thick batter. Cover with muslin cloth and keep it on a warm place for 24 hours.
  2. Make sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water.
  3. Next day, beat maida-curd mixture for atleast 10 minutes. Pour this batter in jalebi mould and fry it on low medium hot oil.
  4. Put in sugar syrup and serve hot.
