ABOUT Dahi Rai Ki Bread RECIPE

This is the best, easy to make, 10 minute recipe for quick hunger satisfaction. Best for kids. You can add in vegetables in filling or make it more spicy with green chillis.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 2 slices of bread
  2. 1 tablespoon butter
  3. 1 tablespoon rai / sarson ke daane
  4. 2 tablespoon dahi (curd)
  5. 1/4 large onion finely cut
  6. 1/4 large tomato finely cut
  7. handful of washed dhaniya (corriander)
  8. 1/4 shimla mirch (green pepper) (not mendatory)
  9. salt as per taste
  10. herbs as per taste


  1. Mix Dahi, onion, tomato, dhaniya, salt, herbs and shimla mirch.
  2. Put the mixture in between 2 slices of bread.
  3. Switch on gas, put flat pan on it.
  4. Add butter to it and rai/sarson, wait until it starts crackling.
  5. Put the bread you prepared on the prepared rai.
  6. Cook from both side, by pressing the breads a little.
  7. Take them out when they turn brown from both sides.
  8. Cut it into 4 pieces. Serve your kids a healthy, easy to make dish.
