Zebra Cake

Ingredients to make Zebra Cake

  • 1 1/2 cups - all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup - sugar
  • 1/4 cup - butter
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tsp - Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup - Milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp - cocoa powder

How to make Zebra Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree C.
  2. Into a large mixing bowl, add in all the ingredients except cocoa and beat on slow until fully incorporated.
  3. Transfer the cake batter into two equal portions. Mix in the cocoa powder into one bowl and stir well.
  4. Now grease and line a baking tray. Pour one heaped tablespoon full of vanilla batter and then a tablespoon of chocolate batter. Continue till you finish with the whole batter.
  5. Bake this in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Enjoy!
