Fennel Cookies

Ingredients to make Fennel Cookies

  • 400 gm flour
  • 300 gm sugar
  • 300 gm butter
  • 175 gm hazelnut powder
  • 1.5 gm baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons fennel seeds

How to make Fennel Cookies

  1. Cream butter and sugar well
  2. Add all the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix using a paddle attachment until well incorporated.
  4. Add fennel seeds as per your choice.
  5. Roll and cut out into desired shapes.
  6. Bake from 18 to 20 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve when cool.

My Tip:

Instead of fennel, these cookies can also be flavoured with star anise or vanilla or chocolate.
