ABOUT Chicken Drummies Karahi RECIPE

Absolutely easy and relished by my family both at lunch and dinner. Just like normal karahi but given a unique twist by me and made with chicken drumsticks for that royal touch of elegance.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 14 Chicken drumsticks
  2. Chilli powder 1 tbsp
  3. Green chillies chopped 3
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  6. Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  7. Tomatoes 2 chopped
  8. Onions 1
  9. Green onions a bunch
  10. Coriander for garnish.
  11. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  12. Garam masala 1 tbsp
  13. Oil 4 tbsp or more according to preference.
  14. Lemon juice 1 tbsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinade the drumsticks with all the masalas and keep aside for about 15 mins.
  2. Heat oil and saute the onions.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
  4. Add the drumsticks and simmer on low heat for about 15 to 20 mins.
  5. Do not add any water.
  6. Add a dash of lemon juice just before serving.
  7. Garnish with lots of chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan.
