Ingredients to make Peanut Chikki

  • peanuts-Roasted and chopped- w/o skin-1 cup
  • sugar – 1 Cup
  • elaichi powder- 1 tsp
  • Oil/ghee- 2 tbsp

How to make Peanut Chikki

  1. Take a heavy bottomed pan
  2. Heat oil/ghee
  3. Add sugar and caramelize till golden brown
  4. Add cardamom powder.
  5. Now, switch off the gas and add peanuts
  6. Mix fast and keep stirring
  7. Grease a working station or a plate
  8. and put this mixture and roll it fast in round shaped and mark diamond shapes on the chikki.
  9. let it cools.Can be served after 5 mins.

My Tip:

The caramel has to be stirred nicely without the lumps formed
