Ingredients to make Kala jamun

  • Mawa1 cup
  • MaidaAPF 1/4 cup and1 tbsp
  • paneer 1/2 cup
  • Sugar2 cup
  • water 1 cup
  • Chopped nuts
  • 1tsp cardamom powder
  • Green food colour few drops
  • Baking soda1/4 tsp
  • ghee for frying
  • Milk for making smooth dough

How to make Kala jamun

  1. Crumble and mesh the paneer in a plate Add mawa and maida
  2. Add baking soda
  3. Knead the dough soft with milk Cover it with clean kitchen towel for 5 minutes.
  4. After that divide the dough into 3:1 ratio.
  5. Add green food colour in less quantity.
  6. Make balls from both the dough..
  7. The size of Green balls is smaller then white one.
  8. Take 1 white ball press it in mid and place green ball in center the white ball then cover it all sides and make smooth ball.
  9. Heat enough ghee in a pan and fry these balls while pouring the ghee over till it gets black in colour.
  10. Soak the jamuns in sugar syrup for 2-3 hrs.
  11. For sugar syrup:-
  12. Take 2 cup sugar in a vessel and add1 cup water.
  13. Simmer until the sugar dissolve completely.
  14. After that check its consistency.
  15. it just like honey no need to any thread consistency.
  16. Syrup is ready.
