ABOUT 7 cup burfi RECIPE

7 cup burfi is one my favorite burfies and my mom use to make it for special occasions. Its named 7 cup burfi because we equal quantity of gram flour, coconut,ghee,milk and 3 measures of sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 cup chickpea flour
  2. 1 cup dessicated coconut
  3. 1 cup clarified butter
  4. 1 cup milk
  5. 3 cups sugar.

Instructions

  1. Grease a plate and keep it ready.
  2. Dry roast chickpea flour in a nonstick pan till it emits nice aroma.
  3. Switch of the gas add dessicated coconut and sugar and mix well.
  4. Switch on the gas and slowly add the milk. Stir constantly
  5. The sugar will start to melt and the chickpea flour mixture will be like liquid.
  6. To the mixture add clarified butter little by little till it's very nicely incorporated.
  7. Cook this mixture till it leaves the pan and clarified butter starts to separate.
  8. Pour this mixture in a greased plate and cut in desired shape.
  9. Store in airtight container.
