ABOUT SHAHI TUKDA RECIPE

Yummy fried bread slices with quick rabdi that you will surely enjoy in this festive season.........

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 slices - bread
  2. 2 - 3 tbsp - ghee
  3. 1 1/2 cup - milk
  4. 4 tbsp - condensed milk
  5. 1/2 slice - bread crumbs
  6. 1/4 tsp - cardamom powder
  7. 1 tbsp - cashews, chopped
  8. 1 tbsp - pistachios, chopped
  9. Few strands of saffron

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick pan and add ghee. Shallow fry the bread slices till crispy and golden brown in color. transfer them to a plate and keep it aside.
  2. To prepare the rabdi, heat a pan add milk, condensed milk, bread crumbs and cardamom powder. Stirring continuosly bring to a boil and simmer it till it becomes thick. Remove from the pan and keep it aside to cool.
  3. Now its time to assemble. Keep the fried bread slices on a serving plate. Pour the rabdi over it. Garnish with chopped cashews, pistachios and few saffron strands. You can serve it warm or chilled. Enjoy!!!
