Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 packet Storebought Gulab Jamun mix
  2. 1cup Sugar syrup
  3. For Malai:
  4. 1/4cup Sweetened condensed milk
  5. 1cup Whole milk
  6. 2tbsp Sugar
  7. 1/2cup Evaporated milk
  8. Few saffron strands
  9. Roof Afza syrup (as per need)
  10. Few drops rose essence
  11. Chopped nuts (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Make the jamuns as per instruction given in the pack. Make a sugar syrup, add the cardamom powder. Once fried,drop the jamuns to the sugar syrup and keep aside.
  2. Mix the milk,sweetened condensed milk, unsweetened condensed milk,sugar,saffron strands together in a heavy bottomed pan. Bring it to boil,stir continously.
  3. Cook in simmer for few minutes until the milk turns bit thick. Put off the stove and let it cool completely.
  4. Finally add the rose essence, roof afza syrup to the milk, mix well. Now remove the jamuns from the syrup.
  5. Drop the jamuns to the already prepared rose malai and keep in fridge. Serve chilled, topped with nuts.
