Ingredients to make Mohanthal

  • gram flour 4 cups
  • mawa 1 1/2 cups
  • Chopped dry fruits 1/2 cup
  • Milk 1/4 cup
  • ghee 21/4cup
  • 1 tbs cardamom powder
  • 11/2 cup water
  • 2 cup sugar

How to make Mohanthal

  1. Add ghee to the gramflour in a bowl and make acourse mixture.add milk and mix it well.
  2. In a pan heat 2cupof sugar and 11/2 cup of water to make sugar syrup of 11/2 thread consistensy till 10 minutes.remove from.heat
  3. Heat ghee in largepan add flourstirr till the gramflour is roasted.completely till nice aroma spreads.add roasted mawa in it.stir in nuts and cardamom powder.
  4. Add sugar syrup in it.keep stirring mixture till mix leaves the sideof the pan.
  5. Transfer it to the greased plate.cut into desired shape when it cools.garnish with dryfruits.
