ABOUT RING MURUKKU RECIPE

This is a savoury item make with Rice flour and Urad dal.....liked by kids very much.....!!!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour 1 glass,
  2. Roasted urad dal pd 1 tsp,
  3. Til seeds 1tsp,
  4. Butter 1 tsp
  5. salt 1tsp,
  6. Hing 1/2 tsp,
  7. Jeera 1 tsp,
  8. Water 1 glass.

Instructions

  1. Take 1 glass rice flour in a bowl to this add the urad dal pd, til seeds , jeera mix well and aside.
  2. Now take a pan add 1 glass water to it and bring to boil to this add salt, butter, hing. Pour this water to the rice flour bowl and mix with a ladle well . after 2-3 mins oil your hands and mix well the dough to make a soft dough.
  3. Keep oil for frying. Now make small balls of seedai size and make pipes out of it and join the ends of the pipes to make a ring. This way make rest of the dough. And fry them in medium flame. Crispy Ring Muruku is ready.
  4. Note : If you want a spicy version just add 1 tsp chilli pd to the flour and mix well and rest is the same procedure.
