Ingredients to make Paneer Tikka Masala gravy

  • For Marinating:
  • paneer 200 gms cubed
  • Bell pepper 1
  • yoghurt 1 cup
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp
  • onion 1 , cut in half take out slices
  • lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • oil 3 tsp for frying
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • For gravy :
  • cashew nuts paste 2 tsp
  • tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • salt
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • oil 2 tsp
  • onion 1 chopped
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • water 1 cup

How to make Paneer Tikka Masala gravy

  1. First marinate paneer and vegetables
  2. Take a bowl
  3. Add yoghurt , coriander powder , cumin powder , chilli powder
  4. Also add ginger garlic paste , garam masala powder , lemon juice
  5. Add paneer pieces , bell peppers and onions
  6. Keep aside for 30 mins
  7. After 30 mins shallow fry paneer and vegetables both sides in batches
  8. Keep aside
  9. Now prepare for the gravy
  10. Heat oil
  11. Fry onions until translucent
  12. Add tomato puree , fry for 5 mins
  13. Now add cashew paste, and chilli powder, saute for 3_4 mins
  14. Add fried paneer and vegetables , saute for 4_5 mins
  15. Add kasuri methi , cover and cook for 3_4 mins in slow heat
  16. Add water , cover and boil for 5 mins in slow heat
  17. Add salt and garam masala
  18. Simmer for 2_3 mins
  19. Switch off gas and garnish with fresh coriander leaves
