Molten Lava Cupcakes

Ingredients to make Molten Lava Cupcakes

  • flour 50 gm
  • butter 100 gm
  • Whole eggs 2
  • Egg yolks of 2 eggs extra
  • Semi sweet chocolate about 113 gm
  • Dark chocolate 113 gm
  • Powdered sugar 80 gm
  • Vanilla essence a tsp or cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Espresso coffee powder 1/2 tsp
  • Muffin pan and liners about 10.

How to make Molten Lava Cupcakes

  1. Whisk the eggs, sugar and butter with vanilla essence.
  2. Add in the melted chocolate.
  3. Gently fold in the flour.
  4. Pour the batter into the individual muffin liners in the tray or in the ramekin moulds.
  5. Fill upto 3/4 th of the liners as these cuppies won't rise much. So not to worry at all.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven on 180°for about 12 to 14 mins.
  7. Preheat the oven prior to mixing the ingredients for 10 mins atleast.
  8. Press a spoon on the cuppies to check if they are done. If the spoon doesn't sink it means they are done.
  9. Don't over bake them. They are usually done in 15 mins.
  10. Let them cool on the rack and serve them while they are still warm with a generous dollop of vanilla icecream.
