Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  2. Corn flour 1/2 cup
  3. salt 1/ 4 tsp
  4. Icing sugar 1/4 cup
  5. Butter 1 cup
  6. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add flour, cornflour and salt.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in another bowl to a creamy smooth mixture, add vanilla essence and stir well.
  3. Add flour mixture to this butter mixture and mix well. Make it into smooth dough and cover it for an hour.
  4. Meanwhile preheat oven to 180°C and line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. When the dough gets firm make 1 inch balls, flatten and place them on the cookie sheet. Keep space in between cookies so that they do not stick to each other when baking.
  6. Bake up to ten to fifteen minutes and make sure not to over bake.
  7. Remove from oven and place them in a cooling rack for up to five minutes.
  8. Sprinkle some icing sugar when cookies gets cooled and store them in an airtight container.
