ABOUT Baked Poha Cutlets RECIPE

Poha cutlet makes a healthy, filling, and lip-smacking snack for Diwali.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup- poha
  2. 1/4 cup- buttermilk
  3. 1/2 tsp- oil
  4. 2 tbsp- hung curd
  5. 1 boiled potato
  6. salt, turmeric, powdered coriander seeds, roasted almonds or groundnuts (I prefer almonds)
  7. Sauteed Spinach leaves (optional), roasted methi powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak poha in buttermilk for 2-3 minutes. Add little salt and turmeric.
  2. Squeeze soaked poha and then keep aside.
  3. Mix with mashed boiled potato, hung curd, salt, haldi, dhaniya powder, curry leaves, roasted almond flakes.
  4. Combine everything well into small-sized balls.
  5. Flatten the poha balls gently with palm.
  6. Grease each ball with oil.
  7. Microwave for 10 mts
  8. Savory poha cutlets are ready to be enjoyed with condiment or chutney of your choice.
