1 cup Maida/ flour
1/4 cup butter
4 tbsps sugar Powder
100 gms Condensed Milk
10 gms Chocolate powder + 1/4 Cup for garnish
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
Few drops of lemon juice
Few drops of vanilla essence
icing sugar almonds and fruit sauce as required
Instructions
Grease the baking dish to be used to bake the Cake. Grease it well from all the corners with Butter.
Sieve flour with Salt, Baking powder and baking soda.
In a separate bowl make a mixture by whisking butter and Sugar in one direction.
Add Condensed Milk, vanilla essence and Chocolate once the sugar gets dissolved into the batter. Add the flour into the batter and whisk it for 2-3 minutes ( remove all the lumps from the batter).
Add milk and make batter of dropping consistency.
Add lime juice, mix and immediately pour cake mixture in baking tin.
'Cake in the Cooker': The base of the Cooker and the baking dish should not come in contact, else the cake might get burnt from the base.
To prevent this we spread 1 cup Salt at the base of the Cooker or First put one empty pot in a pressure cooker and on the top of empty pot put cake tin.
Keep the Cooker on high flame for 2 minutes after spreading Salt in it, to pre-heat it.
Close the lid of the Cooker, without putting the whistle. Bake it for about 20-25-minutes on low heat or till done.
Open the lid, and test the Cake with a fork or knife. If the knife comes out clean, then your Cake is completely baked.
Let it cool down for a while and then take it out from the container by separating it from the corners with the help of knife.
Allow the cake to cool down for 10 minutes.Top with icing of sugar, almonds and serve with fruit sauce.
