Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 kg meat
  2. 1 potato
  3. ghee
  4. salt/pepper
  5. 3 cloves garlic minced
  6. 2 onions. chopped
  7. 2 tbsp ginger paste
  8. 2 tsp cumin
  9. 2 tsp mustard seeds
  10. 1 tsp cinnamon
  11. 1/2 tsp cloves
  12. 1 tbsp turmeric
  13. 1.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  14. 1 tbsp paprika
  15. 4 dry red chillies
  16. 2 tbsp vinegar
  17. 1 tsp sugar
  18. 2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Make a vindaloo paste by adding all the ingredients (except the salt, meat and potato) into a mixer and grind into a paste
  2. Add ghee to a pan and heat
  3. Add the vindaloo paste to the pan and cook for 2 minutes
  4. Add meat to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stir.
  5. Add 2 cups water to the pan (for gravy) and cook for 2 minutes
  6. Add the potato to the pan
  7. Cover the pan and simmer on low heat for 45 minutes

jAI it was v nice but v chilly so next time I will add less chillies
