Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sweet corn 1
  2. Rice flour 1 cup
  3. 1 tsp chili powder
  4. 1/2 tsp hing
  5. 1 tsp cumin
  6. 1 tbsp butter
  7. White til 1 tbsp
  8. salt to taste
  9. oil for Deep frying


  1. Method Grind the sweet corn to fine paste without water
  2. Take a bowl add ground sweet corn paste rice flour cumin butter salt and hing mix well now add water and make soft dough keep aside
  3. Heat the pan add enough oil when oil is hot
  4. Take ball sized amount of dough and make a log add star disc into the murukku press
  5. Then transfer the log into murukku press
  6. To test the the oil is hot add a piece of murukku dough if it sizzle up the oil is ready to fry murukku
  7. Press the murukku dough in a circular form the slowly slide in to hot oil
  8. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until done flip other side fry for 2 minutes remove and place it on a kitchen napkin
  9. Finish rest of the murukku dough
  10. Sweet corn murukku is ready enjoy happy Diwali and happy cooking
