ABOUT Bread Dahi Vada RECIPE

Deep fry bread dipped in sweet yogurt. A simple yet delicious recipe of my mom, this recipe brings back memories of my school days.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. White Bread Slices:- 10-12 pieces
  2. Fresh Yoghurt :- 1 cup
  3. Water :- Little to dilute yoghurt
  4. Chilli powder:- 1 tsp
  5. Sugar :- 1 tbsp
  6. Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Mix the yogurt, water, salt, chilli powder and sugar together and set it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry till all the bread slices turn a little brown in colour.
  3. Dip all the fried bread one by one into the yogurt mixture and arrange it in a serving plate or bowl.
  4. While serving pour some more yogurt on top and serve it immediately.
