Silky Chocolate mousse, an all time favourite dessert to enhance festive flavours.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. sugar 3 tbsp
  2. Dark chocolate coarsely chopped 200 gm
  3. Whipped cream 1 cup
  4. Oreo biscuits 1/2 cup
  5. butter 1 tsp


  1. Take the chopped chocolate in a large sized bowl.
  2. In a saucepan add 1/4 cup water, then add in the sugar. Boil this mixture till the sugar melts.
  3. Pour this hot syrup over the chopped chocolate pieces.
  4. Allow the mixture to stand till the chocolate melts. Then allow it to cool.
  5. Beat the whipping cream till soft peaks form, then gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture little by little.
  6. Crumble the oreo biscuits in a grinder. Then add butter to this oreo crumble and mix it well.
  7. In a tart mould, tightly press the oreo mixture and form the base. Then pour the chocolate cream mixture into the mould.
  8. Let this chill in the fridge till it sets for about 2 hours. Then remove from the fridge and unmould it, then cut it into pieces.
  9. Serve it along with a dollop of whipped cream and a chocolate piece.
